If you have curled previously or have been through a Learn to Curl you are welcome to participate. Price has been reduced to $30 per person for all. All curlers from all clubs are welcome to join us as well. Please use PayPal at checkout, or use offline checkout and send payment via Venmo within 48 hours of registration or by midnight the day of the event (whichever is soonest) so we can prepare the right number of sheets.

Ice Prep will start at 8:30 PM. Curling will start at 9:00 PM and we must be off the ice by 10:50 PM. Please remember to show up early and help prepare the ice.

Learn to Curl - November 15, 2019

Carolina Ice Palace

This is your chance to get on the ice (no skates needed!) and learn how to play this fun Olympic sport. Following a brief warm-up, your trainers will escort you to the ice where you will learn fundamentals of throwing stones and sweeping. You will also learn about how you can play, right here in Charleston!

Curling is an adaptive sport, so if your knees or back are a concern, we can show you how to curl without bending or crouching. Please contact us if you are interested in wheelchair curling and other adaptive options.

Dress warmly-- the ice is cold! - Warm socks - Clean tennis shoes - Comfortable pants that will allow movement. Jeans are NOT sufficiently flexible for curling. - Warm layers - Optional: Hat and gloves

Registrants must be 18 years of age or older.

Club Night at Stingrays game with intermission curling

North Charleston Coliseum

Come join the Charleston Curling Club as we promote the sport of curling and our club at the South Carolina Stingrays Hockey Fights Cancer Night, November 16, 2019. The game starts at 6:05 PM. Our tickets are in section 104. We will have two teams competing during the first intermsision in a skill drill to see who can get their stone closest to faceoff dot on center ice from the back boards. We will also have an information table setup in the concourse to promote our club and upcoming events.
