Bonspiel

The Charleston Curling Club is excited to announce Take 2: The 2nd Annual One-Day Bonspiel on July 27, 2019 starting at 8AM.
Take 2 will be in a pointspiel format with a three game guarantee.  Lunch and dinner are provided.
Team registration: $360
Singles registration: $90
If you register as a group and have less than four names registered you will be assigned curler(s) from the individual registration list to fill the remaining positions. If you do not want to have someone assigned to your team, please enter TBD as the name for any remaining positions to ensure the system registers you as a full team.
Junior curlers are welcome as a team or as part of any team as long as they have a chaperone with them on the ice at all times.

Charleston Curling Club Members - The lottery for the one club team is separate from this registration and will be announced at a later time. Please do not register for a team here.

After much debate and consideration, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Krakenspiel.

Our Arena has not reopened and there is no indication on when they may reopen. If they were to reopen in time for the bonspiel, the time constraints would make it difficult to pull off a bonspiel under normal circumstances. However, with the additional required precautions from the CDC, DHEC and the State of South Carolina, we have decided to stay on the side of caution and cancel the Krakenspiel.

This is all very saddening to us. We are a young club, and this is by far the largest event of our year. We also greatly miss our curling family and were looking forward to seeing everyone again.

The Charleston Curling Club is excited to announce Krakenspiel 2021: Our Annual One-Day Bonspiel on July 31, 2021 starting at 8AM.
The Krakenspiel has a pointspiel format with a three game guarantee.  One quick individual meal and draw snacks wil be provided.
Team registration: $300. If you do not have the information for your full team, please enter TBD into the position fields.
Junior curlers are welcome as a team or as part of any team as long as they have a chaperone with them on the ice at all times.
We will be following all COVID state and local guidance at the time of the Bonspiel.
