The Charleston Curling Club is proud to announce its inaugural bonspiel! Taking place on July 28th, teams from across the Southeast will come to the Holy City to compete in a Pointspiel format one-day tournament.
SCHEDULE: Opening Draws @ 8am and 10am. Specific Pools TBD.
• 20 teams maximum (so get registered quickly!)
• Three games per team
• Pointspiel format
• Lunch and dinner provided
• Adult beverages available for purchase
• Costumes/ team themes are encouraged-- be creative!
• We will have some great raffle items including a professional photo shoot the next day at the beach or in our beautiful historic downtown (weather permitting). This will be a great opportunity to get your holiday card photos or engagement/ anniversary photos made, so be sure to bring your outfits and bid to win!
• Raffle basket donations are gratefully accepted
The bonspiel will be held at the Carolina Ice Palace, 7665 Northwoods Blvd, North Charleston, SC 29406.
We know that while many of you will be making this a long weekend and choosing to stay downtown or at the beach so you can enjoy all that Charleston has to offer, we do have a host hotel (Holiday Inn Express) literally a one minute walk from the venue!
