May Mentor League

Update: While we've held our first session. We are offering the opportunity to attend the last 2 league ngihts at the same $30 per game rate for a total of $60.

The mentor league is open to people who have attended a past Learn To Curl. This does not need to be a Charleston hosted Learn To Curl. It is ideal for people who enjoyed the Learn To Curl experience but want additional instruction before participating in on ice events like pick up play, league play, and bonspiels.  

The league fee is $90$60 and covers your ice time for three two dates:

• May 14 @ 7pm
• May 21 @ 7pm
• May 28 @ 7pm 

During each mentor league night all participants will be split up into two teams and play a game. Charleston Curling Club mentors will work with both teams throughout on the 3 main elements of the sport: Throwing, Brushing, and Skipping Strategy.  Participants will rotate their position on the team throughout the game to allow everyone to cycle through different roles.  You'll also have the opportunity to learn how to help prepare and tear down the ice.

Join your leaguemates, mentors and other club members for broomstacking afterwards at Stones Throw Tavern - Northwoods Mall.  

Space is limited to just one sheet of 8 players total.
